Upon arrival at 5 pm, the room was freezing even with the heating on full, but once warmed up, it was comfortable and very clean. Despite a rocky start, the hotel served perfectly as a good weekend location.

The hotel was only good for us because we were attending a wedding down the road. The rooms were small and shabby, overlooking a very messy overgrown beer garden, which was quite disappointing. Despite having a good night's sleep, the experience was dampened by the heating being switched off, making us go to bed wearing t-shirts.
